Stage One Charity Selection and Web Site Preparation

Charity Trustees⁽¹⁾ select the charities that will receive the commission (commission charities) payments from the Affiliate Window sales. Trustees will select 1 Main charity and 3 other charities. The Charity Selection Certificate⁽²⁾ is completed and copies are sent to each commission charity. Web development⁽³⁾ takes place, including set up of JustGiving sites and review of Affiliate Window contents. Any charities that where not selected as Commission charities and are not yet featured/link from C4C are added to relevant pages. After all web content has been reviewed web site is published⁽⁴⁾ with new charities.

Stage Two Fundraising

A visitor⁽⁵⁾ (like your good self) arrives at the Cash 4 Causes web site, you now have two options. One. You decide to make a donation direct to one of the charities using the JustGiving pages⁽⁶⁾ that we have set up, you leave the site satisfied. Two. You browse through the many Affiliate Windows looking at the online stores⁽⁷⁾ of Vodafone, Next and John Lewis. You find the product⁽⁸⁾ your after and you make your purchase. The fact that you made your purchase through a Cash 4 Causes Affiliate Window is registered by the merchant and we are paid a commission based on the value of your Basket. Stage Three Financial

The money that you donate on any of our JustGiving pages goes directly to the charity so needs no intervention from us. The commission⁽⁹⁾ that we earn from your purchases is paid twice a month by Affiliate Window. The money is deposited in the Cash 4 Causes account for approximately 28 days⁽¹⁰⁾. The interest from the funds is used to pay for our operating costs so as much of the commission (your money) goes to the charities. The funds are split as follows, Main charity 40% other three charities 20%⁽¹¹⁾. All commission donations are paid⁽¹²⁾ through our JustGiving pages.

Stage Four Reports and Returns

Through out the financial year all commission payment records are collated⁽¹³⁾ and published on the web site. At the end of the financial year an independent body will audit⁽¹⁴⁾ all our commission payments and donation figures. Our audited accounts will then be presented⁽¹⁵⁾ to the Charity Trustee's and together they produce our end of year report⁽¹⁶⁾ which we also publish on the web site.
